More Press: "Diabolically Good"

If you're thinking to yourself, "those four copies of Diabolically Good sure looked beat up," then you need to be told that the weathered aspect of the covers is part of Anxiety Press founder/designer Cody Sexton's fabulous book design. Furthermore, the press this radioplay and movie guide combo has been receiving has been anything but shabby. In the last six weeks, Diabolically Good has garnered favorable reviews from the Bay Area Reporter, Sacred Chickens, and Spectrum Culture as well as an author profile centering the book via Out in Jersey. And if this copy you're reading right now sounds like an ad, guess what? It is.

  • Jim Piechota for the Bay Area Reporter: "While Price was at times enigmatic and other times boldly theatrical, Pisarra refamiliarizes audiences with his life and grand legacy in a humorous, thoughtful, and uniquely honorable way."

  • Julie Price Carpenter for Sacred Chickens: "...the book is a happy, indeed a necessary addition to any horror library."

  • Eoghan Lyng for Spectrum Culture: "Pisarra’s joyously obsessive collection of recaps — which even dips into Price’s work for television — will give you a front row seat, with Price front and center."

  • Tatiana Costa for Out in Jersey: "The book is a delightful combination of his radio play, Price in Purgatory, and an overview of Price’s many career pursuits." (interview)
