Theater: Vermont Studio Center Residency

Earlier this month, I spent three weeks at an artists residency in Johnson, Vermont. During that time, I wrote over 20 poems, started a new play entitled The Stations of Martha Cross, and made quite a number of new friends. Indeed, there were 38 members in the cohort and not a bad apple in the bunch. If it seems like a cop-out to recap a residency with a list of names, my primary defense is these people are all worth mentioning. It was a wonderful experience. If you're wondering why I've categorized this as theater, my reasoning is I was awarded this residency as a playwright and that fact inspired me to work on the evening-length monologue mentioned above.
