About the event

Last time I read sonnets at the "Come Hear" poetry marathon at the Rainbow Book Fair -- the largest LGBT book event in the United States -- was right before the pandemic, in 2019. Among the authors sharing my time slot were beloved friends Mare Davis (Alice and Fay, A Fairy Adventure) and Pamela Booker (Dust: Murmurs and a Play). This time around, I'll be reading alongside Regie Cabico, another dear friend and the event co-curator with Nathaniel Siegel. The 2023 theme is "Weird and Queer." With that in mind, I'll be rifling through my upcoming collection Periodic Boyfriends to see what I can find that aligns. It shouldn't be hard. (Please Note: The "Come Hear" poetry marathon begins at noon and features an impressive lineup every hour. The 4pm start time cited above simply refers to the hour in which I'll be reading. Also, thank you Lonely Christopher for creating the graphics!)
