About the event

Poetry event producers Nathaniel A. Siegel and Regie Cabico -- with co-curators Casey Catherine Moore, Drew Pisarra, and Bakar Wilson -- will be presenting this year's installment of COME HEAR!, descriptively subtitled "The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual Plus Poets Reading Their Poems Marathon Event." As one of the curators, I'm quite proud of the talent in the 1 p.m. lineup which includes poets Pamela Booker, Jayson P. Smith, Ayodeji Otuyelu, Joan Larkin, Mare Davis, Ben Fears, Michael McKeown Bondhus, and Malcolm Tariq. But there are great poets throughout the day so you can't go wrong whenever you come. Also worth noting: The event is scheduled to be held in the the lovely Pat Parker/ Vito Russo Library which has been generally closed since the pandemic.
