Hear We Are

The 27th annual Alternative New Year’s Day Spoken Word/Performance Extravaganza runs from early afternoon until late evening at the Westbeth Artists Housing Complex. The theme this year is "Hear We Are." Although the event starts at 2pm and runs until 10pm, I'm scheduled to read for three minutes between 8pm and 9pm. Based on the email, I suspect poets Eve Packer (no mask, to talk), Billy Lamont (Words Ripped From a Soul Still Bleeding), Peter Carlaftes (I Fold With the Hand I Was Dealt), Kat Georges (Our Lady of the Hunger), Sarah Sarai (That Strapless Bra in Heaven), and Ngoma Hill (I Didn't Come Here to Tap Dance) will also be participating, though further details are still forthcoming.
