About the event
What would happen if the late, great American playwright Eugene O'Neill crashed a modern-day rehearsal for his now-forgotten one-act "Fog"? In Drew Pisarra's latest comedy, actors who drink from a magical whiskey bottle are possessed by the dead writer's spirit. What results is a wholly new experience challenging preconceptions about casting based on gender and race, and reflecting O'Neill's own early career efforts to create a more inclusive theater. The Drawing Board NYC presents the first public reading of this new script with a talented cast of NYC actors: Ed Hyland (Eugene O'Neill), Tommy Walters (John), Paden Fallis (Billy), Mia Gentile (Helen), Amara James Aja (James), Michelle Maryn Lee (Mary) and Desiree Baxter (Director). This event is free. No tickets required.
