Halloween in August? Why not?! As the subtitle of Diabolically Good suggests, Drew Pisarra's latest hybrid is serving up All Hallow's Eve a bit early. The book's first half, Price in Purgatory, is an imaginative radio play about the titular actor's Dantesque journey from Hell to Heaven. ("...hysterically funny and intensely thought-provoking..." -- Arts Independent) The second part, Price in Celluloid, chronicles Pisarra’s decidedly personal exploration of Price’s extensive filmography, including some hard-to-find made-for-TV gems, as if Price were the whole point. ("joyously obsessive" -- Maitland McDonagh). Special guests will make this a book launch you won't forget!
